How long have you been in business?
GMG Public Relations celebrated its 20th year in business in November 2011!
What is your primary product or service?
We offer traditional public relations and marketing services along with new and social media support. We also offer website design and copy writing, photography and video services, Facebook landing pages and various design support.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I worked for Ernst & Young for 4 years handling all the public relations and marketing activities for the White Plains, NY office. I was asked by several former colleages if I would assist them as well and after only a few months I was able to start my own company.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I provide what I call "extreme" hands on customer support. Often bigger agencies will send in the top guns to win the account and then let the junior account execs handle the actual work. We have been called in several times to replace those larger Westchester and NYC based agencies (names you know!) because when you deal with GMG, you deal directly with Risa Hoag who has 25 years of PR experience. How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location and we like it that way. We keep overhead down and clients benefit.
